Position Summary
The Salary & Payroll Officer will handle the end-to-end processing of institutional payroll, benefit calculations, and salary administration. This role demands high accuracy, strict adherence to institutional policies, and timely execution of monthly disbursements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly salary payments and administer staff payroll portfolios accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive digital and physical employee compensation records.
- Coordinate with the accounts department to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
- Update payroll database systems regarding employee promotions, leaves, or salary adjustments.
- Ensure strict compliance with institutional guidelines and accounting standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Prior Experience: Direct experience in payroll preparation and salary administration is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have managed payroll within a reputable educational institution.
- Special Category: Retired Army personnel possessing the requisite technical skills and relevant administrative experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) or specialized payroll management tools.
